The Sovereign Academy is a parent education and product organization focused on personal sovereignty. Its current work includes financial education and Bitcoin education, with room for other sovereignty domains as they develop.

Sovereignty, as we use the word, is having the knowledge and the practical ability to make important decisions for yourself: to see a situation clearly, recognize the incentives and pressures acting on it, judge the available choices, act on what you can control, and learn honestly from the result.
It is not isolation, total independence, or refusing to rely on anyone. People remain sovereign when they cooperate, delegate, and seek expertise, as long as they do so with understanding, on known terms, and with a way to review or exit. Knowing what to delegate, and to whom, is part of the skill.
Sovereignty is also not a permanent status. It is graduated and domain-specific. You can be sovereign over your budget and dependent in your custody arrangements. It can be built, and it can be eroded. That is why an academy for it makes sense.

Truthfulness first
Material facts, numbers, and comparisons are supported and dated, or clearly marked as illustrative or uncertain. Missing evidence is surfaced, never hidden behind confident language.
Inform rather than convince
We develop the learner's capacity to reach and explain their own conclusions. Tradeoffs are stated plainly, including the costs of what we teach.
Practice before theory
Learners work through real decisions instead of abstract lectures. Understanding is shown by doing, not by finishing.
Clear language
Plain explanations without talking down. Jargon is defined or removed.
Materials adapted to the setting
A classroom, a job site, a reentry program, and a kitchen table are different rooms. The materials respect that.
Education, not sales
No financial products to sell, no accounts required to start, no harvesting of personal data. Education is kept distinct from individualized financial, legal, or tax advice.
Some of the work reaches people through the organizations that already serve them.
Employers, workforce organizations, schools, correctional and reentry programs, municipalities, and community partners use structured programs, facilitator guides, and train-the-trainer preparation built on the same principles. Those programs are designed for the actual conditions in which people learn: paper-first delivery where needed, limited internet access, bilingual instruction, low-risk practice, and first-time facilitators.
Today these are financial education programs, delivered through Financially Sovereign Academy.

The Sovereign Academy was founded by Dalia Platt, an educator and curriculum developer who has spent six years creating practical financial and Bitcoin education in English and Spanish.
Her work has included public education, structured curricula, interactive learning tools, facilitator resources, institutional programs, and training designed for communities often overlooked by conventional financial education.
